What this assumes
- Any device. If you believe a device may be monitored, use a different one.
- Normal internet access.
Do these first
Containment. Minutes matter here and nothing else does.
- If there is any immediate physical risk, contact emergency services first.
- Do not reply to the person publishing or threatening. Engagement reliably escalates it.
- Tell someone you trust what is happening, so you are not managing it alone.
- Alert anyone else whose details were published alongside yours.
Afterwards
When the immediate situation is over, a plan is what keeps it from happening the same way twice. That needs an account; this page never will.
